Information we collect

Pinterest and the Pinterest API
Small Space Paws uses the Pinterest API to publish our own original Pins that link back to articles on this site. Small Space Paws is an independent website and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest in any way. "Pinterest" is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.
The only Pinterest account connected to our integration is our own. We store the access and refresh tokens needed to post on our behalf. If we disconnect our account from the Pinterest API (or revoke access in Pinterest's settings), we delete those stored tokens and any associated Pinterest-derived data we hold, and we stop making Pinterest API requests.
We do not sell, resell, license, or redistribute Pinterest content or any Pinterest-derived data to third parties. Pinterest data is used only to operate this site's own publishing and analytics.

Our articles link to external retailers and websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites; please review their policies separately.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Who is responsible for your information
Small Space Paws is operated by Ryan Heinrich, an individual based in South Africa. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"), Ryan Heinrich is the responsible party for personal information processed through this site, and can be reached at hello@smallspacepaws.com.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics provided by our host to count page views and measure loading performance. These measure traffic in aggregate and are not used to build advertising profiles. If we enable Google Analytics in future, this page will say so before it goes live.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Under POPIA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights, and if you are a California resident, the CCPA does the same.
